I recently attended MSU’s 2017 University Communicators Network Conference. The conference featured two guest speakers–Andy Crestodina, cofounder and strategic director of Orbit Media, and Kristina Halvorson, CEO of Brain Traffic. Crestodina spoke to us about writing and promoting web content, strategy for interconnected content, and data-driven decision making. Halvorson spoke about content strategy for higher ed.
The conference was really well done, and I learned a lot from each speaker. It gave me new perspective and direction to move forward and improve the communication for the units I cover.
There’s too much for me to cover in this blog, but I do want to highlight what I found most valuable from each speaker.
